2004 AES Convention
Wunder Audio attended 117th AES Convention
in San Francisco in October 2004. The
PEQ1R, the rack mounted version of the PEQ1, was introduced along
with the Wunder Audio CM12 microphone.
Our new products stood proudly along side the PEQ1 module and the Wunder Audio CM7 microphone that were
introduced last year, when we introduced
the company at the New York AES Convention in October.
Once again, the response to all of the Wunder
Audio products was amazing! The booth,
at times, was three people deep and those who visited got to
hear the PEQ1 compared to a reference
module, the Neve 1073. It was fun to watch the facial
expressions of those who listened. It was evident
that they could hear the strengths of the
Wunder Audio module and the Wunder Audio microphones, even in
such an incrediably noisy environment.
Just imagine what they sound like in the studio! We passed out lots of literture; spec sheets, price
sheets, several reviews and our new sticker
that has the tube-atomic man with our web address. Although we
did get such a great response form our
little sign that said the Wunder module is "not
a Neve clone". Thank you to everyone
who came by our booth! Below are some photos from the show.
Thanks again, Sincerely, Mike, Joe, Cathy and
Scott.
